Virtualization Clusters Security Upgrade Tuesday 20th October 2026

We will upgrade our virtualization clusters to apply security patches during the maintenance window below:

HD VDS, NVMe VDS, and legacy VDS products are affected. Your virtual server will be rebooted during this window, with a brief service interruption expected to last approximately 5-7 minutes.

The upgrade addresses CVE-2026-99999, a Linux kernel vulnerability in IPv4 packet processing. Invalid packet checksum metadata can cause network header corruption. Applying the security patches helps protect the security and reliability of the virtualization infrastructure.

Dedicated Server/Colocation customers hosting their own or customers’ virtual machines should schedule their own maintenance and apply available patches for affected software. Please check your operating system and virtualization software vendors’ security bulletins for affected versions, patches, and any required reboot steps.

If you have any questions, please contact our support team through the customer portal. Any changes or updates related to this maintenance will be published on our status page.
