Planned Maintenance Notification - EU11.BCN (Barcelona)

Dear customers,

Please be informed about upcoming scheduled maintenance at our Barcelona location EU11.BCN (Equinix BA1 datacenter).

Maintenance window:

  • UTC: 24 March 2026, 21:00 - 25 March 2026, 05:00
  • Barcelona (local time, CET): 24 March 2026, 22:00 - 25 March 2026, 06:00
  • Florida (local time, EDT): 24 March 2026, 17:00 - 25 March 2026, 01:00

Details: Onsite engineers will perform planned works related to migration of the Equinix Internet Access platform. As part of this activity, optical connections will be reconnected to new equipment.

Impact: During the maintenance window, a brief service interruption of up to 20 minutes may occur while optical cables are being switched and configuration is updated. Both connections may be affected simultaneously.

We do not expect extended downtime, however short interruptions should be anticipated during this period.

Notification of the status of UA1 and UA2 data centers.

Starting from 5:00 EET on February 24, data centers UA1 and UA2 provide services "as is", without guarantees of service availability and data safety. The provision of "on site" technical support is also not guaranteed in these locations. Our absolute priority is the safety of our colleagues and our clients - please do not plan visits to data centers.

For most virtual services, we back up user data in our data centers in other regions. For dedicated servers - we are ready to provide our customers with dedicated servers of a similar configuration in our other data centers for data migration.
