EU1.AMS Network Outage Thursday 20th June 2024

We are investigating issues with network degradation occurred in AMS/MEP location. More details will be posted soon.

Repair work related to this incident is ongoing. We expect that the affected links will be restored within the next 14-20 hours. Our supplier has been working on this incident since it occurred.

To improve connectivity between our data centers, we need to move some BGP peers to other routers. Our NOC is making these changes now, which may result in very short network packet loss. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Our NOC has successfully re-routed our internal links between AMS and MEP to another network transport provider. As a result, slightly less capacity and increased RTT may be expected for some time due to the different network technology. However, all services are now back to an active state.

The primary wave network is still unreachable/non-functional. We are waiting for the complete restoration to start testing and re-routing our national traffic back to this wave transport carrier.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Our supplier's technical staff is actively working on the issue and has identified the core cause as a major failure in the national-wide wave network. There is still no ETA, but we expect the issue to be resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued patience.

We are currently experiencing a network outage at EU1.AMS due to a possible wave transport failure between our locations in the Netherlands. Some services may be affected or unavailable, including the customer portal. Our suppliers are investigating the issue, and there is no ETA yet. Our staff is working on re-routing affected segments using different transport providers. We are doing our best to restore normal operations as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
