EU2.SOF Networking Anomaly Tuesday 25th October 2016

On October 25, 2016 at approximately 01:30 UTC, EU2.SOF came under attack by a large Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. Unfortunately our DDoS detection software unable properly mitigate attack. As result, some customers may experience packet loss or timeouts.

ITLDC engineers were able to successfully mitigate the attack at approximately 02:10 UTC. All services and performance back to normal. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We identified reason why this DDoS attack was not blocked automatically and will fix it ASAP.
