<p>Due to <strong>emergency electricity cuts in the region following massive russian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure</strong>, there are widespread power outages across Kyiv and the surrounding area.</p>
<p>As a result, the <strong>UA (Kyiv) datacenter is currently unavailable</strong>. At this moment, the datacenter infrastructure is offline. We are awaiting further details and official updates from the datacenter staff on site.</p>
<p>Our team is closely monitoring the situation and is in direct contact with the facility operators. Additional information will be published here as soon as it becomes available.</p>

<p>One issue is currently known: the <strong>NOWPayments</strong> payment system is temporarily unavailable. Our team is investigating this and we expect it to be restored within the next few hours.</p>

            <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Equinix site staff have reported a utility power disturbance at the EU11.BCN datacenter, which resulted in an automatic transfer of all customer loads to generator power.

All generators are operating normally, and the site currently has over 30 hours of fuel autonomy. The Equinix engineering team has confirmed that all loads remain stable with N+1 redundancy and is preparing to safely return to utility power.</p>
<p>At this time, all ITLDC services in BCN are fully operational, and there has been no impact on customer equipment.</p>
<p>Our team continues to monitor the situation together with Equinix staff and will provide updates if needed.</p>

<p>We are expanding our <strong>EU3.RIX</strong> location and need more space and more rack power. For this reason, we have scheduled <strong>maintenance and migration works in Riga between September 26 and September 30</strong>.</p>
<p>During this time, we will deploy a new telecommunications infrastructure in our new datacenter, prepare the power distribution system, and carefully relocate our equipment to the new server rooms.</p>
<p>Since this involves physically moving servers, there will be a short and justified downtime. For the absolute majority of services, we <strong>expect downtime to be no longer than 2-4 hours</strong>. In rare cases it may take a bit longer, but rest assured – our team will closely monitor the process to bring your services online as quickly as possible.</p>

<p>On March 20th between 4:00pm and 9:00pm, there will be emergency maintenance on an electrical panel in one of our Seattle datacenters. During the maintenance, there will be a brief outage of up to 30 minutes as the main power leg is replaced. Due to the load on the UPS,all equipment being fed from the panels will need to be shutdown during this maintenance.  Your equipment is not fed via this panel, so your equipment will not need to be shutdown however, the equipment that provides your network connectivity is.  So while your equipment will not be powered down you will lose connectivity during the maintenance window.</p>

<p>From Tuesday, 2 August, 2022, 12:00 p.m., to Wednesday, 3 August, 2022, 6:00 p.m., preparations for the placement of new UPS units will take place. We would like to inform you of the increased risk of an outage during this time frame. On Wednesday, 3 August 2022, the new UPS units will be connected, which requires a shut down of the A power supply branch from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. During this time frame, the power supply for your services will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes. <p>Our supplier will be decommissioning its LAX01 facility located in Los Angeles, CA 90014. We will relocate our infrastructure to new location (Equinix LAX03). During hardware transfer, US1.LAX will be unavailable. Our staff will work in the data center in order to make the move as fast as possible.</p>
<p>Equinix LAX03 (El Segundo) is a world class facility with easy access to LAX airport, area amenities and as expected from an interconnection leader like Equinix, very rich connectivity. The facility is a single floor tier 3 datacenter, with N+1 cooling and power, customer workspaces, meeting rooms, dock high loading dock, with breakrooms as well as free parking.  Equinix’s stringent security standard provides for the most stringent compliance regulations, the facility also boasts NIST 800-53/FISMA, SOC 1 Type II, PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27100.  LAX03 Network is one of our largest POP(s) with tremendous 100gbps connectivity on carrier facing circuits, featuring connectivity from GTT, Cogent, NTT, PacketFabric, Equinix Peering, Any2 Peering, Comcast, Google, and more.</p>

<p>This maintenance time has been chosen with the reason that the average European and international users will be minimally affected.</p>
<p>During this maintenance the power redundancy in your rack will be disabled, the a-feed divider will be connected to the new main power divider C. During this maintenance your primary B power feed will not be affected. In the same time we will combine this maintenance with a planned event (circuit breaker test and service) for next year, this will prevent a new maintenance window in 2019</p>
<p>Please make sure that single connected devices on the A-feed pdu are gracefully shut down or powered off before this maintenance window.

Connectivity restored, no BGP flapping or packet loss, all metrics back to normal.</p>

Service interruption: Some client in SDC2, Meppel had an interruption with a network connection.</p>
<p>Reason: Defective hardware of one of our customers was connected to Serverius network.</p>
<p>When the problem started our monitoring systems didn’t show us any abnormal information like volume or anomaly traffic. Even the Syslog system didn’t give us any clear information about root reason of the problem.  To fix the problem we tried to restart Cisco router but after the restart, the same problems came back. Therefore all customer’s connections were disabled on the affected routers and we enabled them one by one until we found the uplinks which caused all problems. After a while, it was found and disconnected.</p>
<p>We are investigating which kind of abnormal traffic was generated, why the CPU on both Cisco routers was affected and how we can avoid this kind of problem in the future.</p>

<p><strong>Reason:</strong> This year we were faced with a lot of maintenances at the fiber network in the Netherlands. During those maintenances our L2 transport service was affected and our clients had outages. Also, the total amount of traffic in our Transport network is always increasing, just like the expectations of our clients to this service. To avoid the outages in the future with relation to planned or emergency maintenances of our fiber suppliers, and to increase the amount of ports and total capacity, we have built a totally new Transport network. This network is based on the newest Huawei CloudEngine hardware and has fully redundant fiber channels. It's done like fully redundant and fully independent of main Serverius IP transit network.</p>
<p><strong>Expected Outage:</strong> At this step of the implementation, we should migrate all existing L2 vlans connections between SDC1 and SDC2 to the new Transport network. Expected outage is <strong>up to 30 seconds</strong> for reconnections.</p>

<p>One of 20 ton HVAC units requires repair of a faulty component.  HVAC technicians are currently on site working on the unit.  During these repairs this HVAC unit will be operating at reduced capacity (approximately 50%).  Customers within datacenter may notice increased temperature during this emergency maintenance window.  Once repairs are completed all temperatures will return to normal.  We do not anticipate any customer facing impact other than brief temperature increases.</p>
